Thanks Jrob! I also D/L the Turned Ribbon design. I found the instructions for the design on the "Designs in Machine Embroidery" website and D/L the pdf file. I will attempt to attach the address for the pdf file.
I can't wait... I'm going to have to buy a set and give this a whirl!

Thank you so much for sharing! I am facinated by this method of quilting. I've been doing it the hard way for years. Perhaps it's time to chance my ways. It sure looks like alot of fun. Hugs. ****

*Reggie sits in the chair rocking & thinking.... What do I do first???????
Reggie, if you are like a lot of us...you download another design instead of sewing all of those designs you already have!!
Jerrilyn, this looks wonderful!!! Thank you for the heads-up on it. I definitely will look into this!! Thanks, Laura*
Oh, Jerrilyn, Hoopsisters are terriffic!! My dealer has a lot of their quilts, and they turn out just fantastic! As a matter of fact, one of the Hoopsisters is coming to our dealer for a course in August, I think, I'll have to check it out. These work up perfectly, and then you just strip them together. Now if my dealer can do a quilt, anybody can, as she herself says, hee hee hee. Thanks for posting, I thought everybody knew these gals, duh. Hee hee hee, hugs, Marji
nope, this was the first I had seen of them....wish I had done it first! It's really nothing but paper piecing with an embroidery machine.;)
Yes, exactly! It's really easy, and they are such fun women, we had them here for a seminar. They have a free strip block on their yahoo group if you join. Hugs,M
Please tell me what that means! Thanks Hon.
It means that you can make a quilt square perfectly pieced in the hoop by following the directions in the embroidery file. You then sew several together to make a quilt top. I keep hearing "I thought I'd try quilting some day, but am afraid of trying because it looks too hard. Well, if you can embroider, you can make a pieced quilt square now";)
