Yoriko,
I loved it and yes I missed it. When I was a little girl (many, many moons ago, hehe) my Daddy would give us his welding goggles (he had many pairs and there were 6 of us at home) and let us watch the eclipes. These goggles are very thick very black glass to protect the welders eyes. We thought it was awesome to watch. He also took shoe boxes and would poke a small hole in the side (short side) of it. We would lay this box on our sholders with the hole pointed toward the sun (our face was turned away from the sun) and this would create a beam of sunlight through the hole. Through that we could see the eclipse happen. We had chickens that would go to roost during that brief moment. Gosh our childhood, although simple, was a blast. Our swimming pools were the creek, our swings were grapevines that sometimes broke, and we had no grass. Only dirt that was soft and a blast to build out of. Thank you for the video. It was great.
