I'm so sorry, Chris! I have a Janome, and the dealer I bought it from is SUPERB at service! I can't imagine them keeping my machine for a week, let alone 3 months. Usually it's something they fix on the spot. Um, that's mostly because what's wrong is the operator. But, Rick takes the time to listen, look, and fix, right then! I never get told to leave it and come back. I wish for all Cuties a dealer like Super Stitch in North East, PA, USA. It must be awful when you don't have a good dealer right down the road. Hugs, Marji
I'm sending you hugs and ***** I do hope that the month just whizzes by.
Oh Chris how I DO understand your upset!
I had my baby only seven months then it seized up and was in the repair shop for NINE months and One week.
I had it back for only another six weeks and it has been back in repair shop again for One month already. Disgraceful for a $7,500 machine.
I know I am lucky in that Hubby bought me another machine but I want MY baby back and I want it working. IT was the one I CHOSE to buy, if I had wanted the other one I would have bought that in the first place!
I feel so ripped off and so abused, I have threatened Janome that as soon as my chemo is finished in two weeks, I will be notifying the media of their shoddy treatment of a cancer victim.
In 19 months my machine has been in my possession only 8 months, so I am sure the media will be most interested in this disgusting affair.
I do hope YOU will fair much better than I have.
Hugs n roses, M
You go girl! Nobody should be treated this way. Janome just lost me as a customer. Sending you hugs and ***** too.
Be well precious CUTE buddy.
Chris, I'm so sorry for you! I'd be lost without my machine! I hope they get it right now! A big hug for you, Yoriko
Oh Chris, I feel awful for you - I had a long length of time without an embroidery machine a few years ago and I know exactly what you mean - I did have a good friend that had two and she would allow me to visit with her from time to time to get some work done. I like you organized files for a long while and planned the jobs I would do - sometimes - I think I try to make up for that time - even now - working with my machine as much as I can - planning jobs before the one in front of me is even finished stitching. Good luck and please take care of yourself.
Oh My! That must be heartbreaking! I sort of know how you feel! I have had many problems with a machine I have. Fortunately for me, it has never taken that long to have it repaired. I feel so bad for you, having to do without your machine for that length of time!
Awww, I know the feeling...until you get your baby back maybe you can spend that time is organizing your room/space, etc. *2U
I am so sorry to hear that. I hope they are wrong and you get your machine back sooner than that.
Hope u get it back soon, service is not what it used to be. *4u
I hope that your machine will return quickly. Mine was 1 month in repair and the time seemed very long...
No way! That is NOT right.. Oh Chris, I'm so sorry about all this... do you have a Bernina? My friend bought the brand new model (I think it's a 930 or something like that) back in January and it's been at the shop ever since... can't seem to locate parts. After spending that much, I'd be one ticked off woman!
Good luck friend!!! Hope you get your baby back soon!
