11th July. Raels got my name right, but it said that I was from the USA, in fact I live in the UK. My troubles started last September when we had to have our Border Collie put down. Then

4 months ago today, my husband passed away suddenly. My
sons and their families have been having me stay with them from time to time, then on my birthday I developed Shingles, around
my right eye, which is slowly getting better. I have got a project
to do, a quilt for my grand-daughter, but at the moment I can't seem to get into it, but the time will come, and then I will put the finished result up on Cute. Thank you all for your greetings,
I wish I had felt well enough on the actual day to have a look at them, but as they say, better late than never! Many thanks, Pat

Oh Pat, I am so sorry for the loss of Ron - you have to be heart broken, as well as your border collie, I can imagine that your stay with each of of your sons was good for all of you. I do hope that your health is improving. The quilt will get done - when you can work on it - we await the time to view it, of coarse. I will be praying for you dear one. *4U

Hi Pat, was aware that I had not seen a posting from you in ages. I am very sorry to hear about your husband. Life sounds a bit awful for you having shingles as well. I hope that it has not been too bad. Take care as it can come back - though I hope it doesnot as its ghastly. I had it a few summers ago.
Take care C

Glad to see you around again Pat but very sorry to hear about all the triubles and the loss of your husband. Please accept my condoleances and take good care of yourself and as others already said, don't worry about the quilt. One day you will get enough energy and spirit to make it. Lokkin g forward to see your quilt in projects one day.

Pat, I've missed you! I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what that must be like and quite frankly I don't want to try and imagine. I'm glad your mind is working toward a project and eventually you will get the "bug" to sew. Until then hugs to you and looking forward to seeing your project.;)
