Oh, what a bright and happy baby quilt, Reg!! I bet you had fun making this, it'll brighten up even gloomy days for your daughter & little bub. Congrats on a job well done, and on being a gramma to be! Hugs, Marji
Lovely Reggie, and congratulations on being a 1st time Grandma to be ***
Thankyou all SOOOO much for the lovely comments. *4U all.
*******Chris, I got 3 sets from designsbysick.com
I became a member so I could download ALL their sets instead of just getting bits & pieces of different sets from their freebies..lol. It was at a good sale price when the Aussie $ was about the same as the US $, a few months ago.
I only try to get memberships when they are on sale or I can afford them... as I am a pensioner (youngish one) & when the Aussie $ is going well, then I consider it.
Oh, just found where I got the "Sea Horse" from... It's from Amazing embroidery designs, another place i got a membership. It did come with swirls in the background, but I didn't do that part... just went to the seahorse start part.
Sorry, the others are from the other site.
Hi Reggie, this is gorgeous. You are right the colours are so bright and beautiful - I am sure your new grandson/daughter will love it. Great use of the alphabet around the bordertoo.
By the way, where did you get that great Seahorse design?
Love and blessings Chris
Sorry just read it was for Samuel - so it will be a grandson! Lucky you knowing what the baby is already. Our son's 1st baby is due late October and we don't know - will have to wait till it's born before I can finish off the quilt I've made from Tubby's designs.
Love Chris
I love your bright colours and the sea creatures, it's an amazingly cheerful quilt!
I agree Reggie, Sam will just love all those bright colors....nice job..*4U
