so useful for any allergies for children. Sometimes when littles go to pre-school or daycare, there may be a new employee or a sub that doesn't know, and with some allergies that could be catastrophic. It would be so easy to make a badge of the words, to pin on the child's shirt, hang around the neck, tape over the mouth (hee hee hee, only kidding, hee hee hee). But seriously, having food allergies myself, I know what a trouble they can be. And the child might not be able to tell properly. Just seemed like a good idea. If I had an allergic kid or grand, I'd want to make them a sign! Here's the website:

Thanks for pointing out this site! My cousin's little boy is allergic to any kind of nut and eggs. It amkes it very difficult to plan food for the poor little guy. Even if you eat something with egg, or nuts and kiss his cheek...he'll have a horrible reaction. I'm going to take a look at these designs and possibly pick a few up to make little patches for him. It's a great idea!

Great idea. 2 of my GKids are allergic, one to chocolate (would be a disaster if it were me), the other milk and strawberries. By now they're old enough, but before that it would have been nice to have a badge.

I made one and sent it into the teacher to use in any way she found. Since one child did have peanut allergies, a second badge was requested and gladly sent. Some allergies can be life threatening.
