was posted because I need help to erase the black lines in designs, not really for peoples to embroider it, this is my first try at design and digitize

Modo, I brought it up in Embird editor, hid all colors except the black, drew a box around the black lined and split the design. This seperated the purple from the black. I then deleted the black and brought the colors back up which showed only the purple. I hope this is what you wanted to know. I don't know what digitizing software you use, but if you split the design, then you can delete the black.
