Dear Maryjo, You probably know I have just finished six months of chemo after a double mastectomy on December 19/08, so it is fresh in my mind how anxious and worried your sister is right now.
The waiting is not easy, but you can help her by talking to her and getting her to open up and share her thoughts and worries with you. If you live nearby try and spend more time together, go window shopping, Op-shopping, make a cake and just drop by with it and share a coffee together. Get her to come and do some embroidery with you, make her laugh if you can, it won't leave her mind for long but distractions do help.
It is very difficult sharing your worst fears with anyone as you don't want to cause everyone you love to be upset, but I can tell you that it is easier to share your worries with your sister than your husband as sisters usually have a special bond that allows them to share everything. You just seem to know that your sister is strong enough to support you.
So just be there for her and let her know she can tell you anything.
She will have my prayers and if you wish to share my story of survival with her just go to the links below and print them out for her, or read them to her.
She needs to have only positive people, thoughts and talk around her right now. (ABSOLUTELY NO HORROR STORIES)
I would send you my very special healing Angel but you already use her as your avatar... She is a very powerful gift I only call on when I absolutely must.
hugs n blessings, Meganne
Thank you so much Meganne for your very thoughtful post. I have been with you thru your trials and am so pleased that things are looking up for you. You have been in my prayers for a long time. I love that angel avatar. She's my favorite maybe because she looks very much like one of my grand-daughters.
There is nothing more worse than waiting and after that she has to wai for the results. Kathy, you her and your family will be in my thoughts.
Merci; I will be praying for your sister, Kathy, and for you and the family.
*4u!

Oh yes Maryjo... will definitely be keeping Kathy (and you!) in prayer. Be calm and give her the support she desperately needs right now. xoxo
Maryjo, I'm so sorry to hear of Kathy's scare. I pray that it is just a scare. You tell her we are praying for her and will until you tell us to stop.
Thank you so much for the support. And on a lighter note..these puppies sure are cute hahahahahah. Sold the runt today.
From me as well. How mean to make her wait for so long for more tests now that they see a problem. Hugs and flowers to you as well.
Mary Jo, of coarse I will add Kathy to my list - *4U
Of course, waiting has to be the hardest thing!! Hugs, Marji
Worst part is, she's waiting for more test to be done. Then she gets to wait for results.
Maryjo Kathy is now on my daily prayer list. god Bless *
It is so wonderful to have the prayer team working for you...I have added you guys to my prayer list....BLESSINGS....deanna
I have called on the Cuties before and always had a positive outcome. Hope it's that way again. Thank You.
I will do that. The waiting for results is aweful. Hopefully it will be nothing serious. Keep us posted.
