I am stitching a cross stitch design I digitized. The material is puckering. I can't slow down my machine (wish I could). Could it be a hooping error or is my machine just stitching it too fast

Could it possibly be it could b your tension is to tight. I do a lot of cross stitch. I use a firm cut away stabilizer & have never had any problems. It's possible it could b the type fabric u r doing it on. Did u test the design prior to starting it *

:) This was my test design. Don't think the fabric was to tight. I'll try again, hopefully tomorrow night, and use a stiffer stablizer. I have never had this problem with cross stitch. My fabric is the same as I always use for testing my digitized designs. Might of grabbed the wrong stablizer in my rush to stitch out before fixing dinner. Thanks lbrow

have you tried a heavier stabilizer? The last cross stitch design I worked with seemed to work better with a cut away.

I used a cut away but maybe I need to use a heavier one. Just never had any cross stitch pucker the way this one did. Thanks

I don't digitize ...the lst cross stitch design I did was awfully dense....

dkjack by dkjack 02 Aug 2009

This one wasn't that dense. At least I don't call it dense. hahaha What do I know.
