I have a couple of these also...they are wonderful...I got the purple and red...We have them here in Oregon at the S.A.V.E store...I think I pay around 5.75 also plus a 15% to 20% off for everything I buy...I will try to see if they have a website in the morning....If not maybe I could somehow get them to you also....deanna
I know these two places have them: www.clotilde.com and www.nancysnotions.com as I was just looking at there catalog. Good Luck the others below are nice places to go as well.
Claudia, this is a very good deal at Nancy's - http://www.nancysnotions.com/prod... - they have three for a decent price - don't know what the postage would be. Thanks!
thanks everyone - was hoping to get a couple more good deals - before I decide where to buy - hope another CUTE member comes along with a grea deal. *4U all
I can get these for you no problem not sure how much they are here or how much to ship. But have the same thing. Just let me know. Will also check a few other places I know. LOL Lisa
Try checking at JoAnns Store, next to the Fons & Porter section, in u'r store Thats where I find them...
Good Luck!
Sam :)
Sam, thanks - I didn't even know that Fons * Porter had a section in the JoAnn's Store - thanks I will go back and check it out - *4U
Wow, Shirlener, Great question!! I also need some more of these. I have been paying about $5.75 for mine. H&*.
Sally, $5.75 is lower than any of these online - except the one with the magnet for pins in the middle - thanks - *4U
I think these are the ones that bunnylane are talking about. I purchased mine from the link below on ebay. The price, shipping were great. They came in a flash. I love them the thread does not come off. There are three tabs that have like little slits on them and I wind the end of the thread on them, but even if you don't, it doesn't come off. Pop them on top of the tread you use and it's always together. Worst part is that they do not fit on embroidery cones. They really work great.
Libbie, I just bought a couple of these - haven't received them yet - but if they don't fit the cone - I am out of luck on them, that is what I have. Thanks - I love that you have so many and use them all. Thanks - *4U
Shirlene, What I do for the cone is put a rubber band long enough to go through the bobbin and bobbin holder through them and then just put the loops aroung the spool that it matches Of course you could do the same thing with just the bobbin.
years ago I bought some bobbin holders that fit on top of the thread spools I got them at joann's they are great. And the thread doesn't wind off. Has any boby seen these. This way your thread and bobbin are always together. Check keepsake quilting they have a lot of supplies.
I bought 60 from a gent on ebay. Don't know of his name right off hand, but boy do I love them.
Check for coupons online!
http://www.couponalbum.com/coupon...
Click on the link. The Joanne's site will pop up and there is a promotion code on the right where it says 50%. When you check out there will be an opportunity to enter the promotion code and the discount will be applied.
You can also use your search feature
for any company coupon. Enter the company name and the word "coupon" and see what pops up.
Heads up, the Joanne's coupons are usually for one item not a whole purchase (although it does vary, sometimes it is free shipping). You might order 10 yards of one fabric and that is considered one item and you will get 50% off of it but not on the rest of the things in your shopping cart.
Does this help? I stay away from magnets too because don't want to mess up my machine and the cards.
This is a better price - than the last one - but not near as good as the one with the magnet - lol - I am just like you - don't want a magnet close to my machine or cards. Thanks - will wait a day or two to decide. *4u
I have some Shirlene & I believe I ordered them from sew4less sorry I do not have the url. *
You need this?
Maxel, thank you - I bought two of those a month ago - I don't like them - they fall apart too easily. *4U
I got mine at Home Sew. They have the magnet that goes in the center for your pins too.
How funny. I put the exact link and in #2 and it made a loop. LOL
Just click on the first one and type bobbin ring in the search on the right.
:o)
The place in N.C. was probably Long Creek Mills and they have an online store. www.longcreekmills.com I really love this store. I live an hour away and it is great.
thank you for the link to Long Creek Mills - it was a local embroidery center - when I lived there - but I couldn't find a bobbin ring on this site - did you? Thanks, what is your name? - *4U
go to http://www.longcreekmills.com/pro... and it is on that page on the right side. It is 5.99
and another one
oh my goodness - you are on the ball - this is a much better deal - I don't like the magnet for the pins - I bet I could use it without that. What do you think? Oh and I see they sell it in a package deal, too. WOW, thanks - I will look for another day or so - before I decide - maybe another CUTE family member can find another deal. Thanks! *4U
hello there my dear one try this link see if it works i need only one of these but in time
Great - that is what I am looking for - but I really wanted a better price - maybe there is another link or brand - I bet you will need a couple of these soon - if you continue with your FSL craze, too. Thanks - *4U
Here is a picture of what they look like:
The best price is using a coupon from Joann's but you can us it one at a time
