Françoise, just put the word in your google and you will have lots of sites come up - I hope you find a place that will send it to you - without too much postage - it is the shipping and handling that make it high. *4U
I sometimes use OESD polymesh from embroideryonline.com. I mostly buy in bulk from a wholesale distributor. If you want to make a bulk purchase PM me and I'll give you that info.;)
What is different about polymesh stabilizers and where would you use them?
Poly Mesh helps control stabilizer show-through behind light colored fabrics. It stabilizes embroidery stitches yet remains soft next to the skin
Francoise, Mary gave you good advice, and the link to SiCK's website. I would find out how much shipping is from Designs by SiCK, to see if it's worth it. The stabilizers he sells were developed by a man named Fred, who is the same man that developed the stabilizers for Floriani. Floriani stabilizers are excellent, but a bit expensive. If you can get the same quality from Designs by SiCK without the shipping being too expensive, I think it would be worth a try. I use the Floriani polymesh, and it's wonderful. It was expensive, but I got a good price because I went to a Floriani seminar. It's a big roll, so I don't need any yet. But when I do, I'm going to order from SiCK. They also sell Cloud Cover, which is an iron-on soft covering for the back of the embroidery, to keep the stitches from scratching, if you're making things for babies, or even for yourself if you have scratchy stitches. Good luck to you!! Hugs, Marji
