Soaking your plastic containers in Vanilla water will refreash them
Paula, so happy to hear that you found a solution. *4U
Glad you have that solved. We're also having guests on Friday, and I wouldn't want to deal with smells.
*4u!

Grilled Italian chicken, new potatoes with grilled onions, corn on the cob, steamed aspargrass with lemon pepper sauce, Cookie and pudding layered parfais coffee and ice tea. They ate until they said they were going to bust. I had 1 chicken breast leftover.
Now, I keep my broccoli firmly wrapped in a plastic bag or I store it in the older type Tupperware Celery Keeper, you know, the long rectangular one that has a draining tray in the bottom of it. If I don't have room in that then I store it in a T'Ware lettuce keeper. I've never had a problem with smell.
Hugs n roses, M
PS. How do you like to cook and serve broccoli?
That is how I do too Meganne and I have never a smell in my fridge. It really helps
I have always kept my smelly veggies in a tware and never had a problem before. But this caulaflower smelled like dirty feet.
:(((
Thanks so much for letting us know the solution. That is good for everyone to know. Hope your 'party' turns out just fantastic.
Frozen Fruit.......Fresh fruit cut up into a 13 x 9 or 9 x 9 square pan and then covered in diluted orange juice...YOU freeze it and then cut into squares of "scrape" like italian ice...very refreshing in these HOT summer months!
I have some broccoli coming in from the garden, want me to send you some????? (just kidding) How did you "burn" the coffee?
Jerrilyn you can just take the coffee from a vacuum parcel you buy in the shop and do that in a bowl in your fridge. That coffee is already burned.
I juat put it in a pan and put a small amount of water. Heated untill water was almost gone.
so that was the trick, great you have a not stinking fridge now.
