I just found your site 2 days ago and still learning to navigate...I see it on the project page, but don't really know why...or what the vote is for. The other question I have is.... Is there a place to see who all I have had comments both here and on the project area. I would like to see answers, but may not remember where all I have been.

Peg, you have lots of answers for different parts of your question here and each are very good - 1st Welcome to the CUTE family. As has been said the voting in the projects is just for fun - the voting in the community section can be for freebies on our sister sites, or for the next days freebie on this site. We also have voting for the best web site - and that you do - by going to the designs - clicking on the freebie for the day and then click on where it says vote for this site - once you get to the next page - it will say - ENTER THIS STIE - then you click on that link and you come to a page for voting - EMBROIDERY TOP.com - click on the CuteEmbroidery logo and your vote will then be counted - you may vote once in a 24 hour period - any time that you see a flower that is green - you can change it to orange - in the COMMUNITY, Designs by CUTIES, BOOKMARKS, FREEBIES, or PERSONAL sections - in the PROJECTS the flowers are oranage and they change to gray when you click on them. As far as any of us can tell - these flowers are for fun and have no value - other than respect and love for the one receiving it by the one giving it. We love to joke about bouquet of flowers and how many that we have gathered - but they mean no more than those that have few. Also, some use the flowers to show where they have commented on in the PROJECTS - if the flower is ORANGE they change it to GRAY - then they have it marked and know that they have commented on that person's PROJECT. Peggy, a big welcome to Cute, so good to have you here - enjoy! As far as I know there is no quick way to search through the 'Projects' area. But here, in 'Community', you can search for any particular member - scroll down the main question page till you see a box with these words in it - 'Search for Members. Enter member name' - if you type your name in that box, then click on your name when it shows under the box, it will bring up all your posts that you have written, but not any answers to posts that you may have given. Hope this helps, and not confuses, love and hugs sweetie, and hope to see you here often.

Hi Ruthie, we sure have missed you - to add to what you have here - Peg, if you do as Ruthie has said - with your name in the search - you will get all your questions - in one column and then you can also click on all your answers in another column. Once you do this - you will see them both - but to go back to them - looking at the post - you have to use your arrow button on your navigator - not the back to the question list button. Hope this helps.

Peggy, on the Projects pages, the 'voting' is like giving a flower, a 'well done', things like that. There's no contest or anything. The flowers here in the community are just a 'thank you' for answering a question, or asking one, you just click on it, and it'll say "thanks" and turn orange. In Projects the flowers are orange, and when you click on them they turn grey. Any way you look at it, they're just for fun, nothing more. Hope this answers your question, and welcome to Cute!! When you get your free design(s) for the day you will see a vote here sign in red(I think). You click on it and it takes you to the place to vote for your favorite site. Cute Embroidery is in 2nd place right now. You will click on Cute Embroidery and it will take you back to the Cute site. Until it takes you back, your vote has not been registered. At that point, you just hit back until you get back to the original Cute site. Your vote will calculated every so often. I am not sure how often but it does not do it right that second. Somewhere down at the bottom, I think it tell you how often it put up the votes. It has not been too long ago that we went to 3rd place for a few days and all of us got a little upset. I think ABC Embroidery is in 3rd place. Sick Embroidery is in 1st place but they give away so many free designs a day and they have so many products that they sale, it would be almost impossible to get ahead of them. They are a very big company. I may be wrong but I think they have companies here and in Canada. You can not vote but every 24 hours and it count. We(the group) strongly support everyone voting everyday! It is just the competive nature in all of us! Veronika is so good to us and we do not want to let her down either! She is the group owner. I hope I did not confuse you. If so, maybe someone else will come along to explain it better.

Welcome to the group! I am sure you will be an asset! Do not be afraid to ask what you do not understand. We will try to explain. If one of us can not then the next one down the line may do a better job. Join in and have a good time. We have some perfectionest among us and some of the most beautiful designs I have ever seen have come from right here. Some are just learning, and some have done it for a long time but have been on a vacation from it for one reason or another. We sew, we laugh, cry, have a good time and we share it all!

Okay.... I just read the answer below. We are talking about 2 different kinds of voting. I was talking about voting for your favorite site and sewmom was talking about voting on a free design that you missed( as in an alphabet letter). Both are ways of voting but I did not know what type of voting you were talking about. If you miss a design, such as the "G" you can ask that it be voted back again after the whole set has been gone through.

The voting on this site and the other 2 sites (Amazing and Cute Alphabets) are for the freebies of the day. Usually when an alphabet or set of designs are introduced they are given away free one letter/design per day. When the alpha/set is finished usually there are some people that have missed a letter/design so they ask for us to vote for the ones they missed. When you want a letter or design you send a PM (private message) to Letvia and she organizes the voting so we aren't voting against each other(that is the "why").
To find Letvia go to the community page (tab up high) and look to the right where you can find a member. You can also find one of her posts and click on her name. When you click on her name you can send her a pm from that page.
You can find more information about how to post and other things by looking to the left side and clicking on tutorials.

Well, I have always looked younger, but the picture is 3 yrs old. I am 59 on the 24th and yep! you have 4 kids of your own instill in them family and next thing you know your service of 12 dishes is not enough! I love a big family....well most of the time anyway.
