We went to church with my (real) son, 2 foster respite boys, McKenzie (kids friend) and my Father-in-law...there was an outdoor service under the tent and a carnival and I GOT TO WATCH MY SON AND MCKENZIE be babtized today..I was never so happy to see my son take this step in his life...He is ADHD with an attitude...I got to see my husband be brought to tears with joy...My Father-in-law was on the phone calling MIL as it progressed....It is such a blessing to see our children grow and learn about GOD....Please say many, many prayers that he will walk in fellowship and continue in his journey towards the LORD....

thats great news - my 10yr old has ADHD so I know how much of a handfull he is and ATTITUDE I just wish some people would read about ADHD & then they won't judge me as a parent with a "naughty uncontrolable child" because its a condition they have & hopefully grow out of, I just find my lifeis very stressful at times - but hey you got great news !!!!! good luck xxxx

He's watching over you also, Yoriko...You will see many come your way as you believe and wait...I pray you also will be blessed and overjoyed as I am...

lflanders by lflanders 23 Aug 2009

Yoriko, I believe that also. You will have to be patient and have faith in the Lord but many blessings will come your way if you just trust in the Lord. It may not be what you want or expect but you will be blessed by what the Lord sees that you really need! That belief is all that keeps me going. I trust the Lord has a purpose for me and I am really trying to be patient and live right and help others when I can. The Lord has given me life twice and my son, his life twice. I filled blessed to still have my son alive and well although I do not get to see him very often. He will get it all together again and get back to being his old self. I do miss the son that I raised but he is still a good person. He has just lost his way home right now. He has too many things on his plate and too many people depending on him and not enough time to share. He is letting his new wife rule the roost right now and does not seem to mind. He has just given up his family for hers. I pray that he will return to his old self soon. It was that man that she fell in love with and not the one she is married to now. He is not the person that did not leave home until he was 37 and that everyone in our small town was crazy about. The Lord will bring him home when the time comes. It is like he has taken on the burden of the world and does not have time to be friendly to anyone. He has been scared since he had the Heart Attack, although he says not.
Yoriko, you are are very kind and generous person that cares deeply about your family. Just believe and your blessings will come to you! Linda in Ga

Oh, my word, two of them!! And your dear MIL got to hear it all, wow!! Now wherever she is she can watch over your son. And what a great example for the foster/respite kids to see, that it's not "sissy stuff" to have and display your faith. I am so so happy for you, and everyone involved. Much love, Marji
