Per my Florini program your stitch count is 12464.
Can you remove the name Amy? and send back out?
your kitty is gorgeous. well done. it is hard work to be a great digitizer. you have a good teacher, and a great appreciation for a good design. keep up the hard work. thankyou for sharing.
Congratulations on your 1st attempt - I haven't tried it yet but I am looking 4ward to do so - thank you sooooo much
love Yvonne
I downloaded this kitty and did a stitch simulation in my Digitizer Pro, and I must say you have a good teacher, and are a good student! Well done! The only thing I would add is a tackdown stitch after the outline stitch for the applique material. But, since that is the first thing sewn, I could just as easily back up and do the same outline stitch again for a tackdown. Hardly a major failing. Do keep up the great work, you have the makings of a class A digitizer! My Janome Digitizer Pro says 12484 stitches, for what that's worth. On my screen, the stitch count is in the bottom left corner, then to the right of that the height and width. Your teacher should be able to tell you how to find the stitch count, as well as how to save in different formats. Did you try "save as"? For a first piece, I'm impressed, Kit, thanks so much for sharing with us! Hugs, Marji
Thank you so much. I basically taught myself from a DVD that I purchased - but the teacher is really very good and will answer any questions by email. She is also based in England and uses the same program that I use which helps. I will ask her how I can save in other formats. Thankyou for the suggestion about the extra tackdown stitching. I worked on this for about a week before I was happy with the result. I did not realise I would need all the information about stitches/colours etc when I downloaded onto this site but I know for next time. Thank you so much for your kind comments and encouragement. Regards Kit
Great job for your first attempt "kitleo". I have a daughter called Amy but she is allergic to cats.
Never mind, it's still lovely.
If I haven't already welcomed you to this site, a big welcome, and we look forward to seeing more of your designs. And seeing as it is a cat, I have a couple of them here welcoming you.
Love and blessings Chris
Thank you for such a warm, friendly welcome. Ironically I am also alergic to them and thankfully she loves them but does not have one. I had a really good teacher who uses the same digitiser as myself so credit goes to her as well. I am working on number two now. Not sure how you save to other formats tho' so any help would be appreciated. Regards Kitleo
Merci;
*4u!
This is adorable; I cannot believe it is your first attempt!
