Hello everybody, I have another suggestion when using FSL designs on normal fabric: enlarge the design by 10 or even 15 % without increasing the stitch number. I have done it; it will look beautiful! Hugs, Mary
I have used FSL on material and the design turned out really well. It was a design for Christmas napkin rings in golds reds and greens. I used a white poly/cotton. The material probably had more polly in it then cotton as it had a very soft sheen to it. I was very pleased with result.
So glad you asked this..we must be on the same wavelength as I was going to ask this today!!!
some look great I have a rooster that is lovely stiched on fabric.
I have made fsl as table runners many time & my friends love there gifts .They turn out extra nice on white material. Can,t think what its called .It is what a chefs apron is made out of.
I personally would stitch out the design and do what dkjack does, zig zag on the material. I've done this before and the designs always look outstanding.
Thanks for asking the question. Nice to know. I would have stitched out the design as usual and then zig zagged onto the material.
I've never done it on cotton, but have stitches FSL designs on netting or organza if I did not quite trust it. I agree with Shirlene, I might be a bit dense.
great question thanks....Knew Shirlener88 would answer for u..our little fsl pro she is
I always wondered on that thanks for asking and Shirlen thanks for answering. *4u both
Yes, you can - might be a bit dense - depending on the design! Have fun - share it in projects! *4U
