That is beautiful, thank you for sharing it with us. We all need to say thank you more often for our freedom.
I for one do thank each person that has given their time and lives protecting the freedom I have (which is greatly changing) and preserving this great nation's history (which is being rewritten).
I WILL NEVER FORGET what this country stands for, even though our leadership may. Because of this amazing country, I stand before you all a 2nd generation American whose grandparents came from consentration camps in Europe.
May GOD richly bless you and protect you - our fine men and women serving in our military... may American humble themselves and give respect to what you all have done for us over the many, many years!!!!
I'm so glad you posted this!!! My nephew and his girlfriend just returned last month and start college next week!!
the Gratitude Campaign - for all of us to say thank you!
WOW!!!This is really cool. My brothers and my son have told me that at some airports the people are really awesome and are gratful and do say something and at other airports they get like a cold shoulder. But the clips are really great.
Mary, let us hope - that nothing like the Viet Nam return - ever happens again. Thank you to all.
I have seen this video many times and it always brings tears to my eyes. My youngest son is there for the second time. The first time he flew in and out and was based in one of the outer countries. This time he is in an area north of Baghdad.I can tell you first hand that the worry at times puts me out of commission. He left in April and won't be back till next April. He is in a teaching capacity and it is difficult because of the language barrier. When he returns he will have 4 years till his 20 year retirement. God bless them all and those parents who have suffered and lost their children there. Thanks for reminding us how much the troops do for each of us and our country.
