Does anyone know where I can get a wooden spool rack to hold my embroidery threads? I have 4 of them I purchased one Ebay about 2 years ago, but there doesn't seem to be anyone selling them now....

I need someone in Australia???
Thanks Lynn

I got the one at JOAnnes' BUT was at the Quilt show and saw ones that turned or hung on the wall that were shaped like a barrel...they were hand made also...very fancy..VERY expensive...the one from DKJACK would be perfect!! lets hope he can market them..I'll start looking at the resale store for lazy-susans!!!

Finally got it downloaded. Have a peek. Simple to make yourself. Remember to measure the space between the shelves so that any size thread you would use will fit.

To mad14kt and daisy530 - hahaha. Let my DH get mine made and then I'll see what he says about making more.

I have a picture of one a friend made on my phone. She started with the base of a lazy susan, added large round dowel rods in the middle in between when adding premade cirles of wood and then topped with a thread rod. She added small round rods on each wooden round to put her thread spools in the order to be stitched (numbering each small dowel rod.) My DH is going to make me one. If we can ever get it to d/l to my computer I will post it.
