Marietta, great idea and I, too hope you find a source that would be small enough and able to be laundered, as Martine suggested. *4U

I actually do have some. You know the little "closed" ones that you see for example on "Noddies" little red cap he wears? We can get them quite easily from habbie departements here. They make lovely sounds and launders well (do not rust). Usually found at button departements.

It's a great idea, Marietta. I have some stuffed animals with bells inside, love the sound of it :)
Just to add, in Japanese culture, the sound of bells makes the bad spirits go away, so we add bells in everything :)

I also have lots of bells and chimes in my house, and is'nt it lovely to hear it all the time especially when the wind blows ? Thanks Yoriko for sharing the part of "the bad spirits go away". I think that is why I always feel safe in my house. Hugs and God bless.

I have bells everywhere here, and yes, I feel safe too :) Love, Yoriko

The Train Stations that I went to while in Japan had strings of Bells. It was calming to hear them, & for the amount of people it was quite.

Great idea, hope you can find some that are small enough to be inserted and can stand being laundered. Have fun sewing them. Martine

I actually have some lovely one's, like the one Noddie wears on his little red hat. They actually give of a great sound, and also will not rust. Thanks for the lovely patterns, I am going to try and will let all know how it worked out. God bless, Martine. Huggs and ** Marietta
