It is confusing, but it IS a lovely alphabet. Sorry the D is not something you can use.

This is a Celtic alphabet, and some of the letters are going to look a little different than you're used to. If you look at a true Roman alphabet, like the ancient Romans used to write, the U looks like a V. That's just the way the alphabet is made, some will like it, some won't. That's why there are so many different choices for alphabets, both on and off Cute, everything doesn't appeal to everyone. Take a look thru the fonts available on your computer sometime, there are some pretty odd ones there, too. Just a matter of taste. I have no trouble recognizing it as a D, but then I do calligraphy. Hugs, Marji
That's one of the reasons I started looking for other alphas. Some of the alphas that came with my machine have a lower case "r" that looks like a "t" and other oddities. I'm thinking the art is done in another country that doesn't have English as a first language.
Thanks for complain, but I am very happy with the D Marie
This is a very lovely Celtic alphabet. Right from the start, the different form in the letter A indicated that. No doubt there will be lots of other clearly defined D letters to choose in the lovely range of alphabets Veronika has so generously provided for us to share. As the daughter of an Irishman, I thank you so much Miss Veronika, it's truly beautiful.
I have no idea if it is right or a celtic letter so I will give flowers to all
I think if I use this D , I will just pretend it is an O. No one would question it.
I purchased the pack. I checked my letters and the "D" in the pack looks like the one posted. The "O" is a litte different with the placement of the flower. But they look the same to me. This is weird.
Ya u'r right, I saw the G and it looks like an D as well but turned around.... I'm very confused!!
