OK Cuties - reading this has caused me to gain 10 pounds. This is certainly not Weight Watchers friendly! LOL - I like chocolate in just about any form - I think that it is a world wide favorite.

I love chocolate everyday, all the time but for a very special treat I bake a Sour Cream Pound Cake. I have an old recipe that is very easy and wonderful. If left alone with the whole cake(unusual)I can eat the the whole thing in just a few days. My whole family and extended family loves it so if they find out I have baked one, I usually have to bake a second one to get any at all! My son's favorite is my Red Velvet Cake. I had to bake one for the grooms cake when he got married. He was set on that cake! I guess that would be next on my list but it is too rich to eat very much at one time! Of course, none of this is good without a good cup of coffee or a very cold glass of milk. !st choice is coffee! I was so addicted to coffee a few years ago that I would drink several pots of coffee from the time I got up until I went to bed each day. I came off of it for 5 years! Now I am back to (1) one (1) one pot a day. heehee Mostly I drink flavored water. I live off of Key Lime Water from Kroger. I drank the one from Walmart for years until my son picked up some for me at Kroger and it did not taste sweet. On the days that my meds make me sick, I have nothing but water and bread. Nothing else will stay down. These are the meds I am taking to fight off any infection with the skin grafts on my right leg. Hopefully that will be over soon. The plces are getting smaller. Right leg is completely well with no grafts necessary.

Fresh Strawberries and cream! (Mangoes a close 2nd).

I actually have strawberries every day - my hubbie gets them for me! We are very fortunate in Australia to have them all year round.

I do rather like for a "lollie" or sweet a hard boiled lemon sherbet!

I am also rather partial to dark chocolate especially Belgian chocolate! We actually had a chocolate fountain at our son and daughter-in-law's wedding last year YUMMY!!!

You've started something here Deanna!

Love and blessings Chris

Mine is hands down home made fudge. I make it really good. Canadians also do maple fudge really well with real canadian maple syrup. In the spring we have a pancake house that opens just when the sap is running and they serve the panckaes with maple syrup. Mmmmmmm!!! Also the very best is JELLYBEANS yes all colors but the black. First the red and pink, then white and purple, blue. Orange and yellow nest then green and always give the black to dd or throw away. LOL. I love jellybeans thats me.

Chocolate rasberry cordials. Kind of hard to find though. I fell in love with Hershey's Kissables but they got discontinued in my area, maybe everywhere, I don't know. Any good milk or dark chocolate will do in a pinch. Chocolate ice cream with brownie chunks and chips too. Oh did I mention CHOCOLATE!
I'm eating a triple fudge brownie as I type. Coincidence?
Did you all get the Chocolate bookmark, available in 2 sizes?

Well I guess I am an oddball cause chocolate is not my favorite thing. I'ts real black walnut ice cream & it's difficult to find the real stuff instead of just the flavored. Use to get it at a place called Holsom's Ice cream in Macon, Ga. but they do not exist any more. Now I look for it where ever I go. *

Does Lintz count as Belgium??? That is as close as I can get here in the states!

mops by mops 28 Aug 2009

No idea. Brussels has a number of shops, one next to the other, that sell the most beautiful and delicious hand made 'pralines', the ultimate for chocoholics. My daughter moved from Brussels yesterday, so I won't be tempted again (spending her 'homeless' weekend here). She's moving to Norway, so I think I'll have to settle for smoked salmon when I visit her end of next week.

Deanna, we have a place called Jake's Over the Top - that has the best frozen dessert called the Avalanche - you can order any favorite that you have - including a fresh strawberry - but I like to have it with chocolate ice cream - instead of vanilla. It is a very thick shake like dessert and every so yummy. Oh I must go get one of those - this weekend. I like any chocolate, too.
