I love the smooth chocolate pieces called BLISS. They just melt in youe mouth and they don't have nuts so i can have them. I also love REAL BLACK LICORICE. The real stuff from germany is the best.
first : chocolate cake "Forêt Noire" (black forest)
#2 : Salade Niçoise (salad from Nice, a French town)with anchovy and olive
#3 : Pan bagnat (same like salad from Nice, but in a special bread) :o)
#4 : chocolate... all chocolate !!!
OK Cuties - reading this has caused me to gain 10 pounds. This is certainly not Weight Watchers friendly! LOL - I like chocolate in just about any form - I think that it is a world wide favorite.
no I do not think this is a topic that any form of weight control would approve of..hehehe
Chocolate! :) It seems this is the favorite everywhere! :D
Italian Cream Cake! Our daughter is going to make one for our 45th. wedding anniversary on Sept. 4th. I can hardly wait! Drool....***
Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I am not supposed to eat it, because I am diabetic, but what the heck, some times a girl has got to do what a girl has to do.!!!! LOL. Huggs and ***
WELL thats the way to think....splurgin a little here and there isn't so bad...
oh dear all these tasty sweet things, hmm I love dark chocolat too and I'm fond of ice-cream!! all these pictures make me hungry .....If we all eat this we do have to exercise LOL
I had to stop reading this. It made so hungry and I just had breakfast. I love ALL that is sweet.
I love chocolate everyday, all the time but for a very special treat I bake a Sour Cream Pound Cake. I have an old recipe that is very easy and wonderful. If left alone with the whole cake(unusual)I can eat the the whole thing in just a few days. My whole family and extended family loves it so if they find out I have baked one, I usually have to bake a second one to get any at all! My son's favorite is my Red Velvet Cake. I had to bake one for the grooms cake when he got married. He was set on that cake! I guess that would be next on my list but it is too rich to eat very much at one time! Of course, none of this is good without a good cup of coffee or a very cold glass of milk. !st choice is coffee! I was so addicted to coffee a few years ago that I would drink several pots of coffee from the time I got up until I went to bed each day. I came off of it for 5 years! Now I am back to (1) one (1) one pot a day. heehee Mostly I drink flavored water. I live off of Key Lime Water from Kroger. I drank the one from Walmart for years until my son picked up some for me at Kroger and it did not taste sweet. On the days that my meds make me sick, I have nothing but water and bread. Nothing else will stay down. These are the meds I am taking to fight off any infection with the skin grafts on my right leg. Hopefully that will be over soon. The plces are getting smaller. Right leg is completely well with no grafts necessary.
That should have been left leg is completely healed. The places on the right leg are getting smaller. The grafts took the 1st try.
My favourite sweet thing is a graham wafer cream pie. I am making one today, my oldest son and his girlfriend are coming for supper and he loves this pie.
Fresh Strawberries and cream! (Mangoes a close 2nd).
I actually have strawberries every day - my hubbie gets them for me! We are very fortunate in Australia to have them all year round.
I do rather like for a "lollie" or sweet a hard boiled lemon sherbet!
I am also rather partial to dark chocolate especially Belgian chocolate! We actually had a chocolate fountain at our son and daughter-in-law's wedding last year YUMMY!!!
You've started something here Deanna!
Love and blessings Chris
I have a smaller version of the fountain. used it for my 25th anniversary with strawberries and banannas
Mine is hands down home made fudge. I make it really good. Canadians also do maple fudge really well with real canadian maple syrup. In the spring we have a pancake house that opens just when the sap is running and they serve the panckaes with maple syrup. Mmmmmmm!!! Also the very best is JELLYBEANS yes all colors but the black. First the red and pink, then white and purple, blue. Orange and yellow nest then green and always give the black to dd or throw away. LOL. I love jellybeans thats me.
fudge is also wonderful...almost too sweet for my teeth though....but pancakes are wonderful
Anything that is really sweet like frosting or cheesecake. I was feeling down this week so I made chocolate brownies with chocolate chips and then I frosted them with cream cheese frosting because that is my favorite frosting.
I make my brownies with walnuts and chocolate chips mixed in topped with chocolate frosting....
Chocolate rasberry cordials. Kind of hard to find though. I fell in love with Hershey's Kissables but they got discontinued in my area, maybe everywhere, I don't know. Any good milk or dark chocolate will do in a pinch. Chocolate ice cream with brownie chunks and chips too. Oh did I mention CHOCOLATE!
I'm eating a triple fudge brownie as I type. Coincidence?
Did you all get the Chocolate bookmark, available in 2 sizes?
you know I think I saw them in walgreens not to very long ago...Ill keep an eye out for you...especially around halloween and valentines day ....
oh and by the way...Tillamook's mudslide ice cream will just about fix any chocoalate fix you need.....
Chocolate of course!!!! Anything chocolate will do!!
Chocolate of course. Belgium is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry good. Anything that is chocolate I love. Our cook at work makes the awesome chocolate cream pie. It is to die for. That is my down fall as i don't make much at home anymore. Don't need the calories.
good thing she isn't here in my area, cause resisting is something I CANNOT DO...
I have two favorites: Flan and tiramisu yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!.**********
I make a wonderful chocolate fudge every Christmas. ONLY at Christmas, because it is tooooooo tempting!mmmmmmm, served best warm right from the pan.;)
same day dilivery is about as soon as you can get it to me.....love fudge with lots and lots of walnuts in it....
Well I guess I am an oddball cause chocolate is not my favorite thing. I'ts real black walnut ice cream & it's difficult to find the real stuff instead of just the flavored. Use to get it at a place called Holsom's Ice cream in Macon, Ga. but they do not exist any more. Now I look for it where ever I go. *
Definitely the black walnut...Peppermint is right there also...love bighting into those peppermint candies
I'm with you on this one Ibrow, I also don't like chocolate, it gives me a Hedi-ache! Icecream on the other hand is always welcome!
Sounds good, I like green tea ice cream. Again difficult to find unless one is in Japan
I'm a lost-cause CHOCOHOLIC - no 12 steps reform for me! The yummiest choc dessert I ever tasted was called Death By Chocolate and I really felt I had died and gone to heaven; it was SOO--OOO GOOD!
we have a cake that is made around in some of the resturaunts that is chocolate...5 layers of cake filled with a chocolate fudge filling between and around topped with dark chocolate shavings
you can only eat an inch slice because it is soooooo rich.....
Inside out Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cake with Chocolate Frosting....Almost tooo rich to eat...makes your teeth hurt!!!
Belgium chocolate. Lovely melting centres, nice outside, dark preferable, but I love the milk chocolate and even the white too. Just typing it makes my mouth water and I remember having put a box at the back of a kitchen cupboard..
Does Lintz count as Belgium??? That is as close as I can get here in the states!
No idea. Brussels has a number of shops, one next to the other, that sell the most beautiful and delicious hand made 'pralines', the ultimate for chocoholics. My daughter moved from Brussels yesterday, so I won't be tempted again (spending her 'homeless' weekend here). She's moving to Norway, so I think I'll have to settle for smoked salmon when I visit her end of next week.
Oh, I am not much into chocolate, but that belgium chocolate, specialy truffles are a fat women dream,LOL!!!!!!!
oh my goodness just reading about it makes my mouth water for something sweet...gotta go and find something fast
Deanna - you need to ask - it's chocolate of course, in any shape or form - is there anything else, haha! Love and hugs sweetie and have a fantastic day.
Deanna, we have a place called Jake's Over the Top - that has the best frozen dessert called the Avalanche - you can order any favorite that you have - including a fresh strawberry - but I like to have it with chocolate ice cream - instead of vanilla. It is a very thick shake like dessert and every so yummy. Oh I must go get one of those - this weekend. I like any chocolate, too.
Oh no, we have Wendy's and I love their frosties - but this is 10 times better - it has a custard or something in it. Yummy!
