As I read the first part of your sentence, my immediate thought was, WOW! She's game asking for "DOPE" on an open forum!!!!
Of course I had only just woken up and was still in a comfy, sleepy fog, so it took a minute or so before I could absorb the rest of the sentence.

I took words from your question: "solution dyed polyester thread"--you knew exactly what you were looking for! Good job--and I learned something! I never thought about this kind of thread--just knew when I made outdoor cushions, the thread rotted! So glad you asked this question :)
