For the newbies: as Meganne said, it's illegal to 'share' embroidery designs, even if they were given as free designs. You may direct someone to a website to get the free design for themselves, but you may not give it to them. When you purchase a design, the only thing you purchase is the right to sew it out. You can't send it to someone else because you 'bought' it, the design isn't yours, only the ability to sew it. Every designer will have 'terms of use' or 'terms and conditions' somewhere on their web page, it's always wise to read those when downloading designs. Some designers allow you to sell things with their designs on them, there are some designers who sell for personal use and gifts only, but not to sell even at craft fairs. Each designer may dictate what you can do with her/his designs, so always read the terms, that way you won't get surprised. I've added a picture of the bottom of the Cute Embroidery page, with the link to Veronika's "Terms and Conditions" circled in green. It's really very important for newbies to know this, and a lot of people don't tell you, just assume you know. Any other questions, just ask, we'll try to keep you all legal here. You may either purchase the individual designs you missed out on, purchase a 6 months membership and get all the designs on the whole website, or request that Cuties vote for them for you.
If you look just above this post you will see the "Voting Request" Tab, just click on that and let Miss Letvia know which designs you would like us to vote in for you.
