Question about FSL. Can a regular cobweb design be stitched on washaway and end up being like lace? If not, does anyone know who might have a lace type of spider web?

Yes, SiCK has FSL spiderwebs. A regular design, even though it may appear "lacy", isn't digitized to stay together without some kind of material behind it. In order to be free standing lace, the design must be digitized in such a way that all the stitches interlock and support each other. Otherwise, when you wash the stabilizer away, you'll end up with a bunch of string! Lacy designs can be sewn out on organza, and the excess burned away very close to the edges, but don't try it on wss. Good luck! Hugs, Marji

Thanks! Makes sense. I seem to make enough piles of string as it is! LOL You saved me from making another bunch!
