My late husband was doing this type of care for a gentleman and his family when he passed away. They came to the funeral and gave a wonderful tribute to my husband, how he was part of their family, and kept the family together because of the care he gave Jerry, allowing him to be in his own home. It is special work, congratulations! Hugs, Marji
Being retired from DON of a local Nursing Home I know how important for people to stay at home as long as possible. I also know they need people who will love & care about them. It takes a special person for this job Karen. I like the title PSS., that's exactly what you are. God Bless U in your new work. *
May the Lord bless you and the work of your hands! Thank you for being there for others in their times of need!
Blessings!
Good for you. I agree we need caring people in this field. Thanks for caring
You have one of the most rewarding and at the same time hardest jobs. So be careful you can mess up your health very easily. I worked in a Nursing Home as an Aide for a year then worked in Home Health and Hospice for awhile as an aide. It is rewarding and very tough at times. You will earn your angel wings for sure. There is a need for truly caring people in that field. Sara
Karen, how wonderful - I always say - the title doesn't matter - it is what is in the pay check - that makes the difference to me - hope they pay you what you are worth. *4U
Congratulations! I hope that you will love your new job!...Barb
Congratulations you are carrying out a very valuable job
Thank you. I have been doing this kind of work for the last 3 years privately. Been interested in it since I was a little girl. I did Candy Striping when I was in high school. Took CNA 2 times. *4U
