This is a closeup of one of the designs I put in my Playland project. I sure learned to do applique after all those designs ! It was quite a learning experience.

Lovely frame for a lovely hat. Now that you've done it - mastered after all those designs - don't you love how fast you can get results? And get rid of all those snippets of material that were just too good to throw away.

Yes, doing applique is a rewarding experience. I watched the video on Embroidery Library a few times and that was so helpful.
