I have a Pr600II. It is a great machine and has a lot of features. I stitch for several places doing logos and monograms and with the fast frames it is a snap to do quickly. Not having to change the thread all the time is great also. I also have the Baby Lock Ellageo which is a super machine and I have stitched a lot of things on it. The PR allows you to do so many other things besides just clothing. I do a lot of bags for a little botique and with out the PR it wouldn't be possible to do the odd sized bags. Gloves, umbrellas, socks, caps, if it fits on the machine it can be stitched on. I got mine when the newer models came out and the dealer was willing to discount it a lot. It was a floor model with 4 hours on it but was in perfect condition and all the original warranties came with it. He threw in the cap frame, the fast frames some bobbins, the table for it and we also bought a digitizing program in the deal. Shop around and don't be afraid to ask for a lower price or extras, I was surprised at what they would do to get rid of the previous models.I don't know if it is worth the extra money to get the latest model or not but this one fits my needs perfectly. There is a yahoo group called PR600-EmbPro_Machines that will give you many answers about the machines. Good Luck.

I have a Brother machine but it is the Innovis 4000D (the Disney version) and I love it.
Actually that is how I got started with machine embroidery, I tried to do it by hand and nothing came out looking anywhere near nice :(/ my husband was flipping through a magazine and spotted the ad for the Brother machine that had Disney designs built right in. So he bought it for me, then they came out with the one I have now so I upgraded, I forgot to mention that my whole house is Disney, walls, sheets, bathroom, towels, dishes, clothes, etc you get the picture.
I would assume any of the other Brother machines work the same as mine. Love the features, can download on the computer then plug in a memory card, once I put the design on the card I can stitch it out. It has an automatic needle threader which is great, it comes with 4 hoops, everything packs up into 2 suitcases. I really like mine and if you get one I think you will like yours. As far as if you should get the 600, 620 or 650 they all are about the same, just more expensive the machine more bells and whistles it has. Talk to the sales people and get the skinny on all 3 machines then decide. Good luck.

i have just had me a pfaff creative 2 and am really happy with it and impressed at how good it sews and the little extras that are incoperated into the utility side of it, after useing a janome for over 15 years this has been an eyeopener as i can actualy go to the little girls room without something going bang clatter stop. it even has a nest cutter before a nest occures. and a big 6x10 hoop as part of the contentes no need to hok up to the computer just load onto a usb pen
