My dealer said to spray with air the area near the bobbin every now and then. Once a year to bring it back to them. I have the same machine. I have had it for 2 years. My dealer and the manual says not to oil it.
I have same model as you and was told NOT to oil at all.

Yes I also took my Bernina in for service and can't wait to get it back. I think once a year. Love Marie
What a question. Well I oil my old Bernina but the embroidery machine goes off yearly for a holiday and gets serviced. Oiling has not been mentioned, though many other things have. Will ask this question when I see my dealer next.
hello, I've never oiled my machine. But once a year I bring it to my dealer for a check-up.
Welcome at cute, join the group. and it's never stupid to ask something! stupid is when you have a question and don't ask.
A question cannot possibly be stupid, why, because if you don't know the answer others may not either. I love to read the questions and answers on here as I learn so much, and some of it I didn't know I didn't know - if you see what I mean!
Having said that I don't know the answer to your question but I know some do and have already given you some answers.
Happy embroidering!
sukirani, WELCOME to the CUTE family - so happy to hear from you - as the others have suggested - check your manual - mine has never needed oiling - however I am sure they do that - when I take it in for service, too. *4U
You need to check your manual. My old machines could be oiled and lubricated at home with manual instructions. My new computerized machine needs to go into the shop for a lot of it. I can dust some areas but the manual doesn't even cover oiling.
They do need to be oiled, you can google how to do it. But I would look at your manual first.
No question is stupid here and so isn't yours. When your machine needs to be oiled, you have to look in the manual of your machine, in yhe manual when it says oil the machine it has to give in pictures the places where oil is needed. Good luck and keep asking questions.
