The two programs are different. I already have Sew Iconz which changes your icons in windows to an image of the embroidery file.
I am 'trialing' sew cat at the moment. With sew cat you create a virtual catalogue, and so far I think it's great.. I file designs by digitizer, and with sew cat I can sort them into catergories which makes it easy to find a dog for example. When using sew cat it shows an image of your file in the middle pane, but only within the program.
There is a yahoo group for users of 'sewwhat' software - SewWhatEmbroiderySoftware. It is great and Steve and Judy are really helpful with any questions you have about the software.
For me sew iconz just makes it so easy to look for a file in your windows files.
Thanks, I was hoping SewCat would also show the icons and I would not need to buy both. I will probably try the SewCat Demo when I get time.
Can't help you but here's a flower while you wait and TTT! Blessings!
