Interesting question, what makes a "Smokey Mountain" design different? Are you thinking of some particular place, or a particular mountain view that's well known (like Japan's Mt. Fuji)? Hugs, Marji

I purchased a set of designs with all Cades Cove designs on it. It's called Cades Cove 1 and is by Barbara Kalb. BUT that's all I can find on the paper work! Am sure I got it somewhere around here, but was so long ago I can't remember where! It has the Oliver Cabin, Methodist Church, Cable Mill & Cantilever Barn in different seasons as well as some animals, fences, etc. Stitches out nicely. Wish I could help you more! But maybe if you looking for designs by her, you'd find it?

We go to the Smoky Mouuntains almost every year and I have tons of embroidered T-shirts from there. I will tell you that none of them have "Smoky" designs - but just lettering saying Smoky Mountains or designs of birds, flowers, deer or Black bear with the words "Smoky Mountains" or Great Smoky Mountains - Never seen any Machine embroidery designs offered.
