I would like to digitize some designs, but I need to get a digitizing program. Any suggestions on the best ones that don't cost thousands of dollars??? Just for home use.

I have heard a lot of people like and use Embird. I have Janome's Digitizer Pro, very expensive, but I love it. Just remember there is a learning curve, don't get discouraged. Besides learning how to work your program, learn the basics of good digitizing from someone with good tutorials. I learned from Trevor Conquergood, and it really makes a big difference! Digitizing is a lot of fun, and the more you do the better you get at it. Best of luck to you, and welcome to Cute!!! Hugs, Marji

Embird! It's reasomably cheap, easy to use, very versatile and quite a few Cuties use it, so you can ask for help anytime.

I purchased Embroidery Magic 2, here's a free video:

There is also a Yahoo Group for EM2. Very informative.

Hope this helps,
