If you have Windows vista you can unzip the design by double clicking on it. Depending on what machine and software you own you may be able to view your designs on the computer screen or transfer them directly to your machine through a usb port and cable from your computer to your machine.Which embroidery machine do you own and what software do you own. If we knew this information it would be very easy to help you with your question.

I have vista also. Do you have a zip file? I found one, it's free it's called jzip. Once you down load it let me know and I can walk you through it. Once you get it set up so that all your zip files go to that folder, you wil have no problem unzipping those files. It took me a while to figure it out also. Some times vista makes it difficult. Wendy
