new computer with VISTA or the upcoming Windows 7. Has anyone tried that? You can pay extra to have XP put on the computer, I THINK. But if that works we should all be happy sewers!

I got a new computer, but also have a certificate to get the new Windows upgrade to Windows 7 free. Since grand daughters are coming in tonight for a week long visit, am sure I won't have any time to be doing computer stuff!! But will let you know in a week if anything works!

Just got one and am afraid of it don't know if I can work it or not it says you equip mwnt that you hook up may not work right may have to buy new I can not aford to buy new programs will work on it.

Think maybe the repairman would be dear and install your 3D onto the computer (and try it out) BEFORE you fork out any $$? I just saw on TV today, that you should wait for Windows 7, but the ones with Vista will be cheaper.

I use 3D with Vista, no problem at all. Had the new computer in March and had heard rumours you could not use 3D, but tried it and without using XP compatible mode, it works fine for me. (As my Designer still uses diskettes, I had to buy a separate floppy drive.) I still can't get my Embird Iconiser to work properly though.

Great day! I'll sure try it! Did you do anything special, or just load the program and go???

I think I heard that 3D didn't work well with Vista. I know it works with XP. The 4D works with XP and Vista.

My computer is on its last leg. I was told the new one coming out would not have vista. What do you all know about the new one? Is it going to be Windows 7?

It's supposed to be windows 7. There's a comment about it on secretsof by the computer gal there...check the computer blog.

Hi there, I am not sure about your 3D program but when we bought our new computer I had asked the sales man if I could get XP instead of vista and I was told that the warrenty would be voided.
