Beautiful little girl & wall hanging is great *
I wanted to show the size of the hanger so asked her mother to send me the photo with her next to it. I made this for my daughter-in-laws sister who was sooooo helpful when my son married.
You did a great job.
I want to make a wall hanging for my daughter's classroom, she is a 1st grade teacher, but I don't know what fabrics to use. She would like it on something that could be washed when needed. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.
thanks in advance
I use unbleached Muslin the most for my projects. The wall hanger was 3 layers and the designs were for 4x4 hoop, when finished I just cut close to the edge then placed them on another layer of material and sewed inside the frame edge, having all touching each other. Then a final backing that was turned inside out like a pillow case. That many layers of material gave it weight to lay flat when hung.
this quilt is so cute and what a great way for a little one to learn the alphabet!! You did a fantastic job with this.

Does this adorable little girl is able to read all the letters?
