Letvia has been kind enough to try and keep a list of missed letters that we could vote on to help people out, and that was working for a while. However, Letvia has a list of probably 40 or more missed letters from several alphabets back on both Cute Embroidery and Cute Alphabets. If you have noticed, there is usually only one or two days between the end of one alphabet and the beginning of another. Since this is the case, it's becoming obvious that most people's requests are NOT going to get filled, or maybe even come up for voting. You can't change the laws of physics: one letter, one day. It's not that some people don't have good reasons for missing things, like being in the hospital, not having internet (look how much Lilian (lbrow) missed by not having a telephone for over 2 weeks! But that's not Veronika's fault, and she gives out a letter a day to hundreds of people all over the world. I'm so sorry people are missing letters, truly. But you will have to decide to either set your alarm clock, decide how much that odd letter is important to you, pay for the individual letters you miss, or purchase a subscription to Cute. I'm just saying this because there has been such a rash of people asking for missing letters to be 'shared' with them, and that is illegal. If you're doing that, you're asking someone to help you commit a crime on an open forum! Please, please don't do that. There are terms and conditions for the use of this site at the bottom of the page, underlined blue letters. That's a link to a "Terms and Conditions" page, please read it. I'm copying the 'copyright' part here in this answer, but I encourage you to read the entire thing. And also for everywebsite you visit, these are important! Thanks so much to all who cheerfully comply with the law. Newbies, please please educate yourselves so you don't get in trouble or get others in trouble. Hugs, Marji

wonderful post!
It's a nasty thing to get a free alphabet and try to get "shared files" when you missed a letter (and the badest of all to me: make promotion on the webpage of veronika for your "help-club"!). 1$ is not so much to buy some missing letters or just join cute and pay for a membership. Thats fair because everybody will be paid for their work...

All the more reason to join Cute. It takes the stress off!!!However I do admit that I can't join every web site that has membership. I pick my favorite which is Cute. Thanks, Veronika for the best web site!!!!

I personally have had no problems obtaining the freebie fonts on each day. I don't know what time the fonts are updated in the United States but being in Australia I log on in the morning my time and a new one is usually there the next day. On rare occassions a repeated font may be up for downloading because members have voted for that particular font again. But I personally haven't had any dramas in missing the alphas.

Oh thank you for this- i noticed that we replaced a freebie posting problem with a voting request problem (and of course did not dare to mention this yet).
It is like waiting for the tramway- even if it has a delay of 10 minutes there are running and frantically hailing people trying to get it.

Sometimes you are too late- that is part of the thrill and fun of collecting.
To serve the last sleepy collector we would maybe have to run an alpha 8 times.
BO-OOORING.
Thanks and sorry.

Thanks, Eva! I know Letvia is just swamped with letter requests, and it's really kind of frustrating to never have your request even come up for voting. Frustrating for her, keeping lists and getting emails when she can't ever do anything about it. And yes, hee hee hee, I have missed many buses in my time, hee hee hee. (Bus=autobus=tram)
