I cleaned my machine and put everything up as usual and there, I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM !!!

thread in the bobin don't go in the right direction, the start node is not on my work but in the machine and therefore the points do not and it blocks me the needle after a few points...what did I do wrong ???

Please look the picture

I was just going to say the same as mooie24....if another piece of thread is stuck in the upper compartment, it throws the stitching off also....Many is the times mine has done it....some threads aren't as nice as others and don't slide through easily, but catch on any sliver of machines....

HI Sissi, I have 2 of these machines. one just had to go in as I to thought I had the same problem as you thought it was a problem with the bobbin, turned out a piece of plastic along the top thread route had split, and was catching my top thread which was stopping the bobbin from running correctly, although my dealer said an unususal problem was very easily fixed, he also reset all my tensions for me. I found this very frustatating as I have 2 of these so had them side by side to compare as well, I was so sure it was a problem with the bobbin I changed parts with both machines
and in the end had to give in lol big hugs Maria xxx

My dealer say : "You sure have a problem with the slipway and syncing your machine."... Don't really know what is it :o(

mooie24 by mooie24 16 Oct 2009

this machine is well known for catching the upper thread around the movements inside, when threaded and running it appears to have a bobbin problem, but mostly its the upper thread problem, then once you starting running it you know if you have a problem try this link...
i found this very helpfull helpful in times of great need lol :-

OK girls, the problem of my machine does not come from a wrong operation after cleaning. It will then go back to after-sale next week ... which means I do not see him again before a month! I'm too sad!

The good news is that repairs will be made under warranty, and the tranport go and return will be free : I would not be charged

The thread on the bobbin should be going anti-clockwise, it comes out the front towards you and you pull it to the right, down and around the hook/loop plastic piece then to the left.

Look closely at the diagram etched into the machine that you can see in your pictures.
Hope this helps, hugs n roses, Meganne

If you took the bobbin case out, it may not have seated itself properly when you put it in again. Do it again, and make sure that it lines up and is supported on all sides by the well that the bobbin case fits into. Then, try a new bobbin and a new needle. If I were there, I could show you what I mean. Good luck!

took a look at pictures, and wonder just like you what's wrong. I can only advise, take the parts you removed out again. and place them back another time, change the needle and use another bobbin. And I hope it works properly again. If not: I'm afraid you have to let the dealer take a look at it.
hope your embroidery-problem will be fixed! hugs4u

I just checked several times: this is not the bobbin thread is wrong, it's the top wire that wraps around the bobbin compartment ...

the can is in the right direction, it is impossible to deceive.

I don't understand....

Sissi, from what I can see, it looks like you have your bobbin thread is going in the wrong direction. Do you need to flip your bobbin over? Check your machine manual. I can see that you have your bobbin holder in correctly. H&*.

Could you possibly have put the bobbin race (the thing that comes out and holds the bobbin) in backwards? And is your bobbin in the right way? I sure hope somebody with a Brother can help you, this is rather different than a Janome! Good luck, hugs, Marji

Flat silver thing under the foot. Check, but I don't think you did, it has a little notch that looks like it prevents that. Hugs, Marji
