Send a PM to Lynn at letzrock. If you look in Bookmarks, she has a link there.

Hello, here is a link you can try. Rather cheap. You send your photo by mail and she sends you back a photo of what you can obtain. If you are OK, you pay(10 australian dollars)and you receive the photo to be embroider.

You can have a quote on the Embird site. And I've seen several other sites that advertise custonm digitizing; some of them give a price per 1000 stitches, which is no help at all as you don't have a clue how many stitches a photograph will need.

I don't know that anyone here is into photostitch digitising as it only turns out as good as the quality of the photo allows. You need to have a very clear, non pixelated, large photo, for it to be truly successful and it can take many, many attempts to get a satisfactory design.
At this time of year it is more difficult as everyone is trying to complete their own Christmas projects..

Did you see the picture of the pillow I posted in the projects a while ago? I found a lady on ebay a long time ago that digitized a 60 year old wedding picture for me. It turned out to be over 100,000 stitches. The original photo was only about 4 inches, and she did it to be about a 5x7. She did a very nice job. It was expensive, but well worth it to me for my in-laws 60th ann. Sorry I didn't keep track of this person, but I'm sure there are others that can do the same.

I saw that pillow, it was great! It was probably expensive because she did it all manually, 100,000 stitches, wow. That's a lot of work! But 60 is a whopper of an anniversary, too, congrats to them. Hugs, Marji
