like the needle gets stuck coming out of the already placed design. If the design has a very dense base it has caused the whole hoop to come apart. If I sit and just gently make sure the hoop moves slowly it seems to help. I think it's just a little older and i just must have a more up to date model.LOL I have had it in the repair shop and all is well it just gets hung up a bit.

Another small problem right before the bobbin goes out it gets stuck. All the threads knot up on the bottom and shut the machine down. It is usually when I'm trying to do FSL and I'm almost done. I take it apart and put it back and it's just a little off. (Wouldn't ya know) I love my little machine and I feel blessed to have it but any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Have a great day God Bless

If you aren't already, try using an 11/75 needle Ronny. I find that size is best for FSL.
As for your bobbin, when you refill it make sure you start winding it very evenly holding the loose end, then stop winding and cut the loose end off.
Hope this helps,

I think the needle sticking when going through a dense design, is just the nature of the beast (or sholud I say beauty when talking about our embroidery machines) Both of my machines do the same thing.

It's always a bad idea to sew one design on top of another. That's why in most software you can place them that way and remove the underlying stitches (those in the lower of the 2 designs) so the density of the combined designs is not increased. Sewing slowly might help, but isn't a real solution.
As to the second problem: do you wind the first bit by hand so it 'takes' better when you let the machine wind it. I did at first and that made it stick. If not, I wouldn't know what causes it.

Thanx for the second hint: I've had that same thing happen to me:)
