I get the smell of a brand new embroidery machine for Christmas!!!!!! This happened at just about the right time for you to get the Christmas fever for a second machine. So what is going to be?? Got any ideas? Time for you to go window shopping. Am I right Shirlene? ...........Bet we hear that you are getting a new one real soon. Linda
Linda, that is so funny - I don't think that I could afford what I want and I am sure I can't get credit for it, either. *4u
I'm sorry to hear about that. I just sold my 30+ year old machine at a garage sale. I had kept it to use in emergency but I'm just too spoiled for that. I figure I would use my sister's machine in a pinch because it's newer. It would be nice to have 2 embroidery machines wouldn't it?
Oh no, Shirlene, - it always seems to be something. I know that you miss your machine. Maybe someone can help you with your mother's machine. Wishing you luck - and hugs.
Thak you dear - seems like the help - hasn't worked so far - but time will tell - will it not?
Shirlene without a machine, that's hard to imagine! And hard for you!! I am very sorry for you and hope you'll find something interesting to do while you wait. ;)
Oh Shirlene I do truly understand your sorrow, but perhaps you can digitise a photostitch for the Cutie who wanted a photo done and the money you earn will help pay for the repair.
Now is that a good idea, or is that a good idea???
Speaking of good ideas, I've had my half hour at Cute, it's time to get back to my quilting.
Hugs n much love,
Meg, thanks - I didn't know someone was looking for a photo stitch design - maybe I can do that. Hehehe!
So sorry for you Shirlene.
I know you feel amputatet,
My Machine broke down yesterday too
Should we make a dance to cheerup?
Dont cry
Dear Shirlene, I'm so sorry to hear about your baby! I hope you have it fixed soon! Here's a big hug for you!
So this is a day to play with your digitizing program!! Don't be blue!!
Dolly, thanks - not sure that I can get around the bored part of it, however. *4U
Judging by the number of flowers and getting to know you a little, you must have over worked it! Shirlene, why not working on ideas for your OWN web site (seeing that you are bored)OR digitize something? Now that's my challenge for you!
Suzette, so you think that I need my own website? Hehehe! I don't digitize much - so that is out. What a challenge - hmmmmmm - how will I work on this one. Hehehe! *4U
Dear Shirlene, sorry for you. But you can perhaps rest a little, or if you need, make some order in the designs that you have already, or you look for new ideas and new designs. I am sure that you will be very buzy however.
Oh my goodness, I know how you feel, but keep the sunny side up, and take a well deserved rest. I know !!!!! easy for me to say. LOL
Hugs
God bless
Marietta
Marietta, thank you dear - I am not sure that I need the rest - I need to be busy - I am bored to death now. Hehehe! Thanks! *4U
Shirlene, I am so sorry for your family illness. What was the disease, and the symptoms? Hope for a fast recovery. It is the worst when it happens close to the holiday. H&*.
Thanks Maryio, you did get it. Haha!! I still do not know the symptoms. We best be careful it maybe the "Embroidery machine FLU". H&* for you and Shirlene.
hopefully it will be home soon. I hope it is just a minor repair that will not take much time.
Jikes, hearing this brings tears to me big green eyes! May you have a speedy machine recovery Shirlener!
I can't imagine how you'll function without your machine. That is exactly why I have two. Just in case one decides to quit on me. DH thought I was crazy when I told him I wanted to purchase a second machine for back-up. But on many occasions I have had them both stitching when I'm in a hurry to finish a project. Especially with multiple FSL items. They take so long, and usually have several pieces. I hope your "Baby" comes home real soon. And it would really be nice if you can get your Mom's to work for you. Good Luck.
Mary Jo, I would never think to have two machines - but there are times - just as you say - that it would be nice and having an extra would be good for when one is in the repair shop. I can't get my mother's working and will have to pay for a service on it - so might have to wait to get it looked at. *4U

I feel for you. My "little baby" (PE300S) is not working either! I broke 2 needles doing a dense pattern..no dings in the needle plate so I thought it was ok. Big mistake! Top thread started winding around the bobbin..then another needle change just in case it was the problem. That didn't work...the needle threader wouldn't go around and was out of alignment with the hole of the needle!! DH says I should just scrap it and look for a new one...I have been eying the PE770 by Brother. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.Sending this one away for repair would be costly and I may as well put the money towards a new one I guess.I do hope you have betterluck with yours!!*4U
chenille, luckily - mine is still in the time frame for no cost to have it looked at or fixed. I do hope you find the right machine and enjoy it. *4U
oh my! Sounds like the withdrawals have already started. Just think, you will have time to give us more expert advice. :) Sorry to hear your machine is down though. I'm praying mine will not go down until I get this Christmas Stocking done for my granddaughter. lol
Thanks, I feel strange not working on some sort of embroidery - has given me time to sort through some files - but now - I am through with that - what will I do for the next week? I hope yu don't have any trouble with your now or in the future. *4U
Bless your heart, I know how it is when you baby ain't home. It's like you don't know how to act anymore. And you think of 100 things you could do and just can't. Well don't fret to much and maybe it won't be long till you get it back. *******4U
oh dear you must be feeling lost without your machine. Hope it will be fixed soon!!
shirlene what was your machine doing. Mine went back to the factory last month. Sewing beautifully but I'm still not satisfied with the embroidery. I haven't had time to spend trying it out cause I have out of state company. Sorry u r having problems. *
Mine was making some noise - then it seized up. I am very upset about it. *4u
That's what happened to me before. I know what causes that. Thread gets into an area it's not suppose to & causes that. This last time they could not get the tension set right. It kept leaving large loops of the bobbin thread on the back of the design. I'm beginning to wish I had kept the ellegante 1. Hope u get it back soon.
i hope you have your machine real fast back Shirlene
hugs Sonja
I hold my thumbs that your machine will be back very soon, can't imagine you without your machine. Love Marie
Well ,well as with mine i think the fsl has worked our machines to death. Mine has wore out the track were the thread goes & since he has to order parts from u.s.a. mine will be away for at least another week soooooooooooo i am makeing wall hanger snow men .One for mr sisters b/day on the 23d so i better get back to sewing love Carolyn
Carolyn, I am glad tht you have a sewing machine that you can work with - while yours is in for repair - I do not. *4U
Poor Shirlene without an embroiderymachine, it seems to be impossible. Can they offer you another machine during the repair?????
I was hoping that they would offer one - but they did not - I was very sad about that, as well. *4U
I know how you feel, I have done a little bit since i have had my machine back, I just cant seem to get into it again
Carol, thank you - I am not sure that I would ever have trouble getting back into it. *4U
OMG! Shirlene, I'm so sorry! I can't imagind you without an embroidery machine. It's like imagining you without arms. I pray that you get your machine back very quickly!
Oh Shirlene! This is sad ... do they have a "loaner" you could use? Sounds like a silly question - But, I would call and ask - the worse they could do is laugh!!! Did they say how long it should take to fix? Sorry! Laura
Laura, they said about a week and they don't do the 'loaner' thing either. *4U
