Oh, Deanna, how funny! I guess we never expect to be flipped of by babies or gray-haired grannies in wheelchairs, hee hee hee. How patient and kind you are, and your sense of humor is great, too, to be able to see the really funny side of this. Hugs, Marji
Deanna, bless you for being there for them. At least you still have a great sense of humour and can laugh at the comical side of it! Boys will be boys!!!!
Love and blessings Chris
Thanks for sharing deanna, they can be trying, rewarding, humerous & disappointing at times I know but u r going to have memories that r unbelieveable & they'll stay in your heart for many yrs to come. *
it was so out of sinq and instant is why it was humorous....you right you don't know what to expect daily....
Since your charges are Foster kids, I'm sure that you never know what sort of life they have lived before they came to you. It's wonderful that you are there with them to give them a secure place to live. Glad they have you in their lives.
Wonder if there is a way to secure the pup tent onto the top of the bed, to keep the youngster from falling off? Can't think of a way of securing it, without causing a hazard though.
When my Aunt Ruth went on a job interview as a teacher in a nursery school, she was sent into a group room to interact with the children. She knelt down to speak with a little child who immediately slapped her in the face. My Aunt's immediate response was, "Sometimes I have days when I feel like that, too". My Aunt was hired and later became the director of the school.
Remember that the slaps in the face are just a result of the rough lives that were lived before the children came to you. Keep up the good work!
Love,
Jacqueline
