I embroidered on a layer of tulle & solvy or any rinse away stabilizer , I trim the tulle away, but leave a bit of the rinse away around the edges, then I slightly dampen the rinse away and pat the edges into the soap. I liked to use round (not balls) of hand made soaps.
I forgot to add if you use a layer of tulle you don't need the design to be free standing.
great idea, now it is not a bar of soap anymore, but a real gift.
bella!!un'idea per natale,ho tanti pensierini da fare, grazie teresa

How can you embroider on soap?
The embroidery is not actually on the soap itself. You would embroider a small freestanding motif and stick it to the soap . You can wet the soap, some use a clear drying glue. This is mostly for a decoration instead of actual use.
It is super. Can you say me, how do you do that? As the embroidery is on the soap? I've seen something like this before?
Nice job! I am always on the look out for "mini" designs so I can put them on soap.
Dolly, great job - have you tried any of the FSL Jewery Designs?
Great job. Love them all. I made several of these in the past. Used the same design in a larger size on towels to match.
This is unique. Everybody which gets of it a piece can be happy.*********
They are really beautiful and it smells wonderful set,
nice gift.
Estan grandiosos, me has dado una muy buena idea para un proximo baby shower, thaks for sharing.
Well done! What did you use in the end to "stick" it on to the soap? Suzette
I tried what I had read, just use dots of water on the soap and work it into a lather and stick the wet embroidered piece on than let dry. he he
