This was the attempt of a pun. cu-ties. new-ties.

It sounds similar when pronounced, doesn't it?
Of course it was not my intention to offend anyone- so thanks to sewmom who sensitized me.
Oh my gosh...
that this was necessary-... best whishes and goodbye.

I saw that, and I chuckled when I saw it, I got the pun. I thought it was funny! I guess when people want to be offended, they sure can find something to be offended about. You do a great job with English, I can't begin to imagine even making myself understood to find a bathroom in German, let alone make a pun, hee hee hee. Keep coming up with those wonderful websites, ok? Hugs, Marji

Strewth! Eva, I have a lizard in my back yard and he regularly visits us!

I love Lizards too and hope you're not offended by someone's remark. I think you do a marvellous job and especially as English is not your native language. There are so many innuendos in language that it doesn't worth bothering about.

God bless you for all you do with the free - bies for us Cute - ies!!!! I'm giggling now!

Love and blessings Chris

This is our regular visitor a blue tongue lizard - he soaks himself on our back lawn in the sunshine and then returns under our fence for the night. He loves to keep warm under cement too!

Hey Eva. I haven't seen this post you are referring to, but don't worry about it. Instead take my compliment for dealing with the english language as well as you do. I think you are doing an amazing job. When translating goofs are bound to happen. I couldn't keep the differnce between garbage and cabbage for the longest time and would alway tell that I was cooking Garbage rolls. Keep posting because I for one would truly miss your wonderful mind, projects and ideas.

I would love to be called a lizard by you. You would blush though if you heard what my foreign-language-speaking husband taught me to say to his friends when we were new-lies. . .

Don't worry about it. I did not see the posting but I'm sure it was taken in the way it was intended to be. I for one always look for your postings because I have got some lovely patterns for following it up. You are one sharp lady with a nose that can sniff patterns out! Hugs Babsie
