Hi all I am new to the site and am wondering about what the flower symbol is under your names.....

I am new to embroidering by machine also but really am having a wonderful time doing it. I am a little confused about stablizer and positioning but I'm learning a lot by just reading what you all have posted.

Thanks, Lyn in Ohio

Welcome. I have been here a few months and learning so very much. I now visit a couple times a day to see what's new. The designs by cuties are great and so generously offered to us. The tips and hints and general conversation are great. I love giving out the flowers everywhere I go here at cute and I check to see how my garden has grown! It is fun as well as educational. When I have asked a question it gets a response or 12 almost immediately! Enjoy.

Hi Lyn - and a big Aussie welcome from me. As you can read this is a great site to belong to. There are so many willing people who will share their talent and knowledge with you.

I have only been on here participating this year, but was looking around on it prior to that. You will learn an incredible amount about embroidery, sewing, patchwork anything really to do with sewing. So take your time, look in all the TABS, check out all the tutorials on the left hand side of the page. One of our Cuties has done a great job letting you know what to do.

So again a big welcome - love and blessings Chris

Well now lyn welcome to the Cute embroidery site. We r most proud to have u with us. Glad to hear u r learning. None of us know every last thing to know about embroidery but there are some very smart cuties that will do all they can to help u. You only have to ask. They have told u how to give flowers/ U only click on the flower by the persons name. why do we give them, well just because, everyone needs a pat on the back, a hug, a flower. To encourage, to let u know u have done a good job just to let u know- hey glad u are here- Here's another *4U

Hello Lyn and welcome to Cute. Yes one can learn a lot just by reading all the posts. I most certainly have. All this reading and I don't get to the embroidery part at times. To your question about the flower symbol. We can give flowers. On the right side of a post you can see a green flower. If you click on it,it will turn orange and the cutie that had posted gets a flower. The total you ever received shows up under the name. Flower for you

Oh, thank you so much....I really like learning from each other. I had an amazing box problem and was asking everyone about it but to no avail. Then, last Sunday I had a "duh" moment and figured out the problem by accident. I have been spending alot of time stitching but I agree I like to read advice and see what everyone else is up to.
Thanks again, Lyn
