the middle of a design and jumping over a inch and start sewing.

It stopped in the middle of a design and go back to the main screen. When I told him what it was doing he said no way but it did it with him.

Sounds kinda like the mother board has flipped it's wig. Hope u have it back soon lena. I simply hate not having my machine, even if I have nothing going on it. I miss it not being in it's usual place. *

I think I would contact the "Brothers Company" and tell them the problems and that the dealer is giving you the run around. The dealer will not lose anything buy replacing your machine with a new one. He can send it back to Brothers and get credit for it. Do not be so nice, start demanding!!. Enough is enough. Good luck, H&*.

I agree with the others, the dealer should give you a replacement machine. It sounds like this one is a factory defect.

Wow, thisis the first I've heard of that type of problem. I wonder if the computer caught a virus, or was if faulty from the start. Do you scan your designs with your virus checking software before you transfer them to the computer?

I think I would firmly but nicely insist on a NEW replacement for my machine. Computers are very touchy things to deal with and I am sure they have a mind of their own if not in perfect condition!heehee Since it is a new machine, it should not be a problem to get them to replace the whole machine. You got to have confidence in that baby before you can make beautiful designs! If you have a good dealer, He should offer to replace it with a new one. I had a wonderful dealer when I lived close to Augusta, Ga. and I bought two Babylocks from him. I have lost him! I moved to the Atlanta area and he has changed embroidery machine brands on me. I just really love my Babylocks and if I was not 62 and in bad health, I would find a way to get the new one but I noe longer sew enough to warrant me buying another machine, even if I could afford it. Right now, I can hardly buy the thread I use must less a new machine. Disability does not go very far and I have alot of medical bills on my legs. They are getting much better, in fact, one of them is completely healed. The Ellisimo keeps calling my name but I have refrained from going in and actually getting a demo on it. I am so scared I will get stupid. I already have 3 and need to sell at least one of them before I think about looking at another. I also have a Singer that has been used very little. It has a beautiful stitch but it is the oldest and has always been the least used. I really only use it when I need a design that is on the Singer Memory card. I have to learn how to use it all over again every time I need to use it.
I hope you solve you machine problems soon so you can jump back into making some beautiful designs!

OH DEAR! I do hope it is still under warranty and that they can get it working quickly for you.
It is demoralising whe your machine breaks down.
Hugs n roses, Meganne

I would ask for a new replacement. A new machine should not require work so soon. I know its probably under warranty but the computer problem would worry me. These machines cost too much not to work right.

you are right about that this is a 7999.00 machine. I did not pay that much but that is the price on it.
