woooow Deborah, they are perfect!!!!! Is the brighter piece embroidered in cross stitch?
No, Erin's is not cross stitch. I have only digitized a few pieces in cross stitch so I didn't think I had better attempt it for her stocking since it needed to be done for her first Christmas. I digitized the fireplace and had to clean up or redo a lot of the other designs as they were freebies. Been working on it since they told me they were expecting. She was born in April so it has been quit a project.
WOW!!! What beautiful work! You are so very talented and creative. I think she will treasure it for a long time and appreciate more with each passing year.
What a darling Christmas scene!! I think she will just love it! You know, the counted cross stitch is so gorgeous and intricate, a real work of art. But, the Mommy probably appreciates it more than the child does. Erin will adore her stocking with that happy scene, and know that YOU made it just for her. Kids don't count the stitches, or see any flaws. They just get bug eyed and say, "For ME?" Your placement of all the elements is wonderful, surely more trouble than I would go thru! Anyone would be glad to have it!! Hugs, Marji
Oh, thank you Marji that means a lot because I worked so hard on designing and digitizing some of the designs. It took 3 hours to just stitch the fireplace, Mrs. Claus and Chair! It was too many stiches for my card so I had to make holes in the fireplace, stitch it and then go back and insert the chair and Mrs. Claus. Boy was I NERVOUS I wouldn't get it lined up right. Said a little pray before starting. :) Each of the other sections I stitched maybe one a night after work. What a project! But will mean a lot to my son.
These are just beautiful! They look like a lot of work went into them!
Wow, There are beautiful. If they do not like them send me a PM and I will give you an address to sent them to me.Haha!! H&*.
Erin only knows you made a stocking especially for her! What could be better? It's lovely. The counted cross stitch is gorgeous, too.
These are lovely Deborah! I'm sure Erin will love that! Thinking that Christmas is right around the corner, it feels like last Christmas was not a long ago. Well done!
It is a beautiful stocking. I am sure she will love it because you made it for her.
It's lovely (would love to see the other cross-stitch ones, too)
I think it is great. She will love it because you did it for her.
Deb, this is adorable and I do believe that your work is great - alot of time and effort went into the making of this stocking - so happy to see you have it done. *4U
