one is pe design 8 I had 5 upgraded to 6 and the writer died but i want to write multipli designs not to many 3-4 at the most .and when i do the lettering i dont want to do one at a time. can some one help me please.

Brenda, I don't have that software, but I am assuming when you are trying to write to your card - you are in LAYOUT & EDITING - you have to click on the FILE and arrow down to WRITE TO CARD - there should be two options - CURRENT DESIGN & OTHER PES FILES - got to OTHER PES FILES and it should bring up a folder or location on your PC - go to the location of where you have your files - that you want to put on your card - highlight them all that you want to write - the click the SELECT BUTTON and write them to your card. IF you want to check and make sure what is on your card - before you stitch - you can also put your card in the reader box and go to LAYOUT & EDITING - up to FILE and ARROW Down to IMPORT FROM CARD. Hope this helps.

I think you will have to do the lettering and mixing of the designs in the part of "Layout and Editing". And when you are ready with the design write it to the designcard. The designcard I have remembers just one design. so I load them on a usb stick that my machine reads too.but my new Pe-design does not recognize the older version pe-design cards(version4).so I convert these in pc, where I still have the older program of pe-design.
