A friend at work and his wife are expecting their first born in November. For their baby shower gift, I stitched the lion, elephant and giraffe from the Cute Embroidery website and coordinated them with a jungle print I found at Wal-Mart. I found a basket at Target that was one of their chosen gift items and placed inside a homemade crib sheet, pillow and pillowcase, top sheet and three burp cloths. When making these burp cloths, do you wash them first for shrinkage, and do you fold them and stitch up the back to cover the back side of the design?

that is a great design. You did a great job. I also have used that design. A few pages back I posted a quilt for our church festival. And I made them on burp towels for my grand son. I am sure your friend will enjoy using this gift.
