Such a wonderful idea Meg & Pauline...I think they will be a comfort to Yoriko right now when she is feeling so down about her upcoming operation...hugs to you both for being so thoughtful and loving...x0x0x
I think she is cute. The embroidery is very well done for a beginner.Don't be so hard on yourself.
I know this was last year, but I came across it and I just love it! The fabric is perfect! Great job on the hand embroidery...
How sweet of the two of you to make these for Yoriko! They are just precious. I did see a picture somewhere of the two of them together. Very different and very well done! They are a wonderful gift for a wonderful lady!
A beautiful Japanese doll for a lov ely Japanese Lady made by a lovely cute lady. Meganne you and Pauline did an amzing job. Very noce details.***
Well done to you both for making these dear little Japanese ladies. I love them.
Love and blessings Chris
Sooooooooo Cuuuuuuute! I love her sweet mouth!!! She is beautiful!*
This is lovely, I like the embroidered sleeves and the embellishment in the hair. The machine in the picture gives an indication of the size. Job well done!
Sorry Martine but the difference in size can't be determined by the picture due to the angle I took the photo, as much as I tried, the perspective is all wrong. LOL!!!
I didn't measure her size, dopey me. hahaha! If I ever make another one I will measure the finished size. Hugs n roses, M
she is very cute, embellishments sure finish it off nicely, love it
Ohhh, this little lady is simply sweet. Flower for you and Yoriko *******
This is just too cute for words! You and Pauline did a bang-up job on these dolls, thanks so much for sharing! Hugs, Marji
Meganne Manami-Chan is delightful. Ah I have just noticed that she is holding a fsl cherry blossom. The blossom in her hair is just like the geishas I saw in Kyoto. Will this be a new sewing career for you?
Oh Heavens, I don't think so, i have too many other projects I want to do, I couldn't possibly stick to making one thing for very long. Not challenging enough. LOL!!! Hugs n roses, M
wow these are very stiking, I can imagine a whole family of these dolls...you have been busy meg.
My machine has gone on strike,,,,or should I say I have gone on strike...must get back into those things I should be doing....
You are one very clever lady. She is stunning. Glad my little Mai-chan has a mate :)
I don't know about clever, but I think they are both gorgeous, besides you chose the material. :-)
I suppose Yoriko could have named them Polly-Chan and Me-Chan seeing as they're mates. :-)))
HNR, M
Very sweet thanks for sharing with us. Looks great! *4U
Meganne, I thought the sleeves are so beautiful, very Japanese theme, and I would never realize that it was embroidered! The first thing I noticed was the wonderful lavender fragrance when I opened the pack. I just love them! As I write this, they are smiling to me :) Thank you so much!!! Watch you mail next days :) Love and blessings, Yoriko
