I embroidered these little bookmarks to donate to sell at the Breast Cancer morning tea, held at the local sewing centre recently.

I've completely forgotten where the design came from, but it was posted in Cute a while ago. Anyone stitching these out should be aware that the spelling of the word 'survivor' is incorrect and the 'e' needs to be replaced with an 'o'.

The one on the right came from Emnroidery Library and can be used as a bracelet.
Thanks for peeking. Hugs n roses, Meganne

Oh, Meg, I really like the lacy one with the rose especially well. Darn, now I suppose I'll have to hunt for it. I never saw one quite like that. I hope you wear yours proudly, lovely lady, as should all the women (and men) who have survived this devestating disease. Sometimes I think the husbands should get a special medal to wear as well, for going through it with you. Much love, Marji

There are supporter pins you can buy from the breast cancer website and I do agree, partners of anyone with cancer sure put up with a lot. Hugs n roses, Meganne

The one with the rose came from Julies Embroidery Antics. It was one of the links that was not supposed to be made public. Ironic because those who accidentally got it, got the mis-spelled one. She has since corrected it for her group. Those "Cuties" who followed the link had no way of knowing that it was unauthorised unless you are a member of her group. Great job fixing the spelling. I'm sure Julie would be pleased that they will be used appropriately.

Thanks for pointing that out to me Maryjo. I don't normally collect freebies but can never resist cancer designs as I'm doing a lot of fundraising lately. I'm glad to know where it came from as I couldn't remember and I couldn't find the post again. Now that I know the link was illegal I'll go back to the site and see if I can pay for it.

The design was meant to be used for the CAUSE and that's exactly what you're doing. I'm sure Julie wouldn't mind. But she might appreciate a Thank You and a note telling her how you're using it. You had no way of knowing that the link was not authorized.

Thanks Maryjo, I couldn't find anywhere to pay for them but what you've suggested is a very good idea and I can at least offer to buy them then.

That particular design was a gift to her group members, so it won't be available on her site. I think she would be very pleased to hear from you with an explanation of how you got it and a note of thanks. She is very good at responding to her email.
