She is just beautifull, I am so scared to get another doggie, as my little Suzie had to be put to sleep for ever, plus minus 3 weeks ago, and I am petrified of getting so very attached to a animal again. I just cannot forget my baby.
I hope she gives you all the love in the world, and will be a real great buddy.
I just love the name Heidi.
Hugs and God bless
Marietta
I am scared too. I just have cats now. Mine, the neighbors and a wild garage cat.
I lost 2 dogs and a cat over the years and they were my buddies. Yes I hurt a lot when they died. However all the years of love, companionship and memories were worth the heartache.
What a lovely lady she is! But I, too, had a dog with seperation anx. & it was hard to handle! For her AND me! From watching shows on Animal Planet, there IS something you can do for that, but I can't remember what!! Lots of help I am! Hope you can get her more relaxed as she's a big girl & my little 10 pound dog did enough damage! But a dog gives so much love!
We are going to the vet tomorrow.Maybe a tranquilizer or sedative. Her 60 pounds can do quite a job on doors.
How lovely to have a dog with whom to share your life! We have allergies here, and still have (only) one cat.
Lovely dog!
Jacqueline
When I had a cat my poor GD had to suffer. So far no one allergic to dogs. Thank you, hyes she is lovely
She is beautiful! And you are right Yvette just does not suit her!
congratulations on your new baby! And, she will be so devoted, seems as if rescues are. I have too. a poodle, Gabe that has no teeth due to someone breaking his jaw and not having it fixed, and a chihuahua that was terrorized by young kids. She still hates little kids, probably always will. They are truly so sweet, and I would not take anything for them. You will be so glad you have rescued. I don't know if you have in the past, but believe me, there is absolutely nothing in the world like it!!! I probably will never have a baby puppy again, I like those who are already trained too much. Almost like getting a baby that has already been potty trained! lol!
You are right. She is very devoted which leads to separation anxiety. Went to church yesterday and she broke her metal crate and greeted me at the front door, which is damaged for her trying to get to me. She is a love and I hope she will get over that. I had another little dog before named Fozzie, but he hated men so badly and become uncontrollably aggresive towards them that I had to return him.
Oh, my, destroyed her crate? Gee but she loves you a whole lot! Can you imagine a person loving you that much? I hope she soon realises that you'll be back when you leave her. Otherwise you'll have to get sunglasses and a white cane, and take her to church with you as your 'seeing eye dog', hee hee hee. I'm sure you'll find a good solution for her, she's young enough to learn you'll be back. Best of luck, big hugs to you and Heidi, Marji
Heidi is beautiful crafter. I think Heidi suits her so much better than Yvette. *
Angie - Heidi is gorgeous - my sister who lives in Tumby Bay South Australia has a beautiful German Shepherd called Ashka. They are such good looking dogs and your choice of name is much more suited to such a regal looking dog.
My girlfriend in Sydney looks after rescue dogs before they go out to good homes. It's amazing, sometimes she has as many as 8 dogs at her place. She used to be a Vet nurse and then became a people nurse retired!!!!!
As for me, well I have a Sheltie called Bella (which means beautiful)
Love and blessings Chris
I was looking for a sheltie, but rescue dog. None were available, but I am really happy with her.
What a pretty girl! I think her new name fits her.;)
I love German Shepherds...Beautiful markings...Image of poodle will be the really tall ones that are whits with bows...yeah the pampered ones would be named yvette....Heidi is a much better name for this lady.....deanna
Angie, Heidi looks like a great dog and the name fits her much better, too. *4U
Oh, Angie, Heidi is just beautiful! Such a perfect choice of a name! My late brother's oldest daughter is named Heidi (we never knew why) Rose (after my mother). I'm so glad you posted her photo, and that she answers to her much-improved name! Hugs, Marji
Heidi is so pretty. We also have a Heidi, but she is human and we think she is pretty also. LOL God Bless, Judy
